Jaredd...
is still Jaredd. He almost always remembers to do his homework (last week he "forgot" to bring his handwriting a spelling home all week long and had to do it over the weekend). He has his first loose tooth finally, but only because he bumped his knee on it during tumbling. He had been two whole weeks without hurting his head until the home teachers came over last night and he bumped up into the coffee table. At least we have witnesses this time.
I know that I don't post for months and then I post all at once until all my kids got a turn. I'm sick and avoiding what I am supposed to be doing.

Aaron's turn
Aaron has earned his Bear in Cub Scouts.
He has read his book for his book report already this month.
He almost has his back hand spring so he can move up to a new class at tumbling in the fall.
Aaron also has learned 9ths in tap.
Alright Aaron

Rob's stuff
Rob has almost earned his Tenderfoot for scouts (which wouldn't have been a big deal in our old ward) but moving put it back months. His leaders are trying, but most of the boys and their parents are not really motivated. He is also the patrol leader.
Rob also got second place for the 6th grade in the science fair.
He has also learned how to do a tuck.
Go Rob

Ballet Camp
Amy made ballet camp this summer! We are all so excited for her. She also had a 4.0 again this trimester. Good work Amy.

Update
We know that it has been months since we blogged. Life ocillates between really boring to anyone but us and really crazy busy so we don't have time to blog. But...
Amy tried out for BYU dance camp for the summer. We will know in a couple of weeks.
We were sitting in the car on the way to sledding yesterday when Jaredd heard a song on the radio that he thought he recognized. "We sang this in Kindergarten last year." he said. Did he really just say that they learned Billy Joel's Piano Man in Kindergarten? He said he thought it was Home on the Range. The song right after was Red, Red Wine. Did they teach that to 5 year olds too?
Aaron has almost earned his Bear badge for scouts and almost has his back hand spring alone. Hopefully the almosts will be gone soon.
Rob is working on a science fair project building platforms and testing their different strengths. Do you think both his parents are engineers?
If there is anything wrong in this typing, I currently have hurt my left wrist (who knows how) and so I keep on missing the right key.

My 10 favorite things about my new house
I know it has been 4 weeks since we blogged, but we moved. The list of the 10 favorite things about our new house:
- Windows - lots of them and they are really big. Sunlight is wonderful.
- Nice blinds over said windows - so I don't feel like I am in a fishbowl at night.
- My own bath tub - I don't have to share it with anyone but Paul, and he hasn't even gotten in it yet. And it is nice and deep for a really nice soak.
- My own sink in the bathroom - we both get our own sink! It has shaved 10 minutes off our getting ready for church time.
- I can see the television from the kitchen so I know if the kids are turning off the wii or whatever program they are not supposed to be watching and start their homework.
- A big master bedroom - there is room for all my stuff and all my Anne of Green Gables and Little House books.
- A walk in closet - my sweaters aren't all squished into a little sorter and might actually look decent when I want to wear them.
- Each child has his/her own room - they can't blame their mess or lack thereof on anyone else.
- An office space for the computer and shelves for my cookbooks - I used to try to shove them all in a cupboard and never could find the one I wanted. Now even my paperwork will be organized (hopefully by this time tomorrow).
- Bigger kitchen/more cupboards - I can stand in one place and whip up a batch of cookies without feeling like I'm going to trip over my child that is setting the table.
